- How would you define the term “villain”?
- What are some characteristics of a traditional supervillain?
- Give a few examples of traditional supervillains. Why do you feel these villains fit that role so well?
- Like supervillains, superheroes generally behave in particular ways, that is, they usually follow a sort of code of conduct. List as many “rules” as you can think of which make up this villain’s code of conduct.
- Why are superheroes unable to completely rid themselves of their arch nemeses? For example, why is Superman never able to “vanquish” Lex Luthor? Why does the Batman let the Joker live after all the Joker’s crimes against humanity?
