Analysis
3. Select one character from these chapters who you found to be interesting. Discuss why the character was interesting to you.
4. The story relies on a number of surprising events. Explain how you think using shock or surprise in a story impacts the way you read. Do the surprises build effectively on each other or does the technique lose it’s impact after awhile? Why?
5. Discuss the ending of the story. Was this an effective ending? What might have been a better way to end the story?
Reading Report Formatting Requirements
- Use this title: “Reading Report for Identity Crisis”
- Be sure to put your full name, your email address, the date, and English 121 on the paper in the upper right hand corner.
- Your Reading Report must be word processed (typed)–do NOT hand write it or you will lose some points
- Staple your report if it is more than one page.
- You may single space your report
- Use a 12 point standard font
- Copy and paste the questions into your report. Then type your answer to each question after the appropriate number. You are not writing a paper, you are just writing answers to these questions. Think of this assignment as a take-home, open book quiz.
