Cover Web Page Assignment Details
Your Next Department assignment is to develop a Cover Web Page for our class guide. The goal of this Cover Web Page Assignment is to unite all the efforts of the individual departments. We want one main page which will list all the individual articles and also explain the purpose of our class project–the guide book we’ve been writing. To do this assignment, you will need to write some new general information that links all of the work done by the other departments in the class and you will need to find out where those departments have stored their files and what they have named them.
This Cover Web Page Assignment will also require a little creativity from your group. You must come up with an interesting name for the guide as well as an interesting cover logo and color scheme.
Under the stars below is the basic template you should follow for making your cover page. Sections you should keep on the cover page are listed in bold. Items you must do, such as choosing colors, but which won’t be included as sections on the final cover page are listed in italics. Again, ask if you are unsure about what to do for any given section.
After you complete your Cover Web Page, save the file as cover.htm and load this file into your department’s web folder.
We’ll vote as a class on the best cover page. The winning group will get a prize.
