How Education Shapes Your Literacy Story
Our homes shape our literacy stories early on, but its in school where our literacy ideas really get shaped. Hopefully, most of those experiences were positive for you. It’s likely they were since you wound up pursuing English as a career. Alas, not everyone gets the kind of positive reinforcement that helps them learn to love reading and writing. But even negative experiences can lead to learning, often as motivators.
We will now try to see what important literacy memories you can recall from school.
Early School Literacy Memories
