Now we’re going to look for the poem that is hidden in all of your writing.

• Read all 4 parts that you have written.
• There should be a lot there, but we can’t use it all.
• In each of the 4 sections, circle some words and phrases that stand out to you.
• Be selective. Choose only the best, most interesting, most important words and phrases.
• Limit yourself to just a few pieces from each section.

Choosing is what matters. We have to make the right choices!
