During our various class sessions, we will work on a variety of small course tasks. These will be writing, technology, and/or literacy tasks. You will receive credit for doing these tasks and for being well prepared for each day of class. You are expected to successfully complete any and all assigned tasks in a timely fashion. Usually you will be given plenty of time in class to do these tasks, but some tasks may require some out of class work.
Please note that one one especially important Course Task is completing assigned readings. Students are expected to do all assigned readings and to be prepared to discuss those readings in detail if asked to do so. Any student who is unable to discuss assigned reading material with reasonable familiarity may lose points from the Course Tasks portion of their grade.
One major task will be writing annotations of several sources.
