IUP English Department 5-Year Review Goals (2016-2021)
The 2016 IUP English Department 5-Year Review focuses on the following 6 primary goals:
- Fully implement new LSE assessment plan
- Increase the number of B.A. in English majors and minors
- Continue assessment in B.A. in English courses, relying less on course grades and more on best-practice methods for measuring curriculum effectiveness
- Attract more students to B.S. in English Education major
- Expand and enhance pool of student applications for English graduate programs
- Improve financial support for English graduate students
