Assignment Overview
Pick 1 book you might like to read for the class. Your book must meet these criteria:
- the book must be fiction
- the book must be at least 150 pages long
- the book may not be required for any other IUP class
- the book may not be something commonly required for high school (such as Huckleberry Finn, To Kill a Mockingbird, Farenheit 451)
- the book must be one you have not read before
- the book must appeal to at least one other reader in the class
- the book must be approved, eventually, by Dr. Pagnucci
Assignment Guidelines
Write a short web advertisement describing why this book would be good to read. Your ad should contain the following information:
- Book Title
- Author’s Name
- Page length
- Brief description of what the book is about
- Brief explanation of why you think this would be a good book to read

Create your web book ad using Microsoft FrontPage.
Design
You will probably want to jazz up your web book ad by including:
- color
- a picture of the book’s cover
- a picture of the book’s author (if you can find one)
Links
Link the web book ad to your home page. You might also want to create a link from your ad to a web site with additional information about your chosen book.
