This exercise is for students who were unable to participate in writing instructions for The Campus Directions Project.
Write a set of instructions for how to a student-related activity at IUP. Select an activity that requires 10-20 steps to complete.
Assume that your audience for these instructions is an incoming, first-year IUP student unfamiliar with the campus and IUP’s many rules and procedures.
Your instructions should help this new student accomplish a real world activity.
These instructions should be written so that they can actually be used by a real first-year student.
Be sure your instructions include a suitable introduction to the topic and are complete.
After writing your instructions, ask someone to test them for you to make sure they instructions are accurate.
