Task Overview
After reading over the recruitment job ad, write a letter in which you retool yourself to apply for this position. Don’t make anything up. Just write a letter based on your real background as if you were actually applying for this position. You can work independently or with a partner. If you work with a partner, pick one person to write the letter about. Then both people can collaborate on writing the letter.
Remember that as your career progresses, you may decide you need to make a drastic move. Even if you never want to change career paths, you may have a spouse, child, or friend who needs this type of help down the road. So it is useful to think about how you can repackage yourself for alternative job applications.
Post Your Job Change Letter Online
