- List the manual’s title and briefly describe the manual’s purpose. List the company which produced the manual. If the manual has an author, list that too.
- Who is the audience for the manual?
- What organizing principal was used for the manual (sequential, by task, by user, etc.–it might even be random)? Briefly explain how you judged this.
- What organizational tools does the manual use (page numbers, table of contents, headings, color, tab dividers, etc.–anything that helps a reader navigate the information)?
- Which parts of the manual’s organization seem effective? Why?
