  1. List the manual’s title and briefly describe the manual’s purpose. List the company which produced the manual. If the manual has an author, list that too.
  2. Who is the audience for the manual?
  3. What organizing principal was used for the manual (sequential, by task, by user, etc.–it might even be random)? Briefly explain how you judged this.
  4. What organizational tools does the manual use (page numbers, table of contents, headings, color, tab dividers, etc.–anything that helps a reader navigate the information)?
  5. Which parts of the manual’s organization seem effective? Why?
