Social Networking
No topic seems hotter at the moment than social networking. Today’s young people spend immense amounts of time on MySpace, FaceBook, and many other social networking sites. In fact, social networking has led to the use of the term Web 2.0 to represent an evolution of our thinking about the Internet. Blogs and wikis are another important element of social networking we’ve already spent some time on, but there’s lots more we can talk about. Even better, social networking represents a great new area for research, especially for doctoral students.
