When you return home, put your poem somewhere you can see it. Perhaps you can also put your special object near the poem.
Whenever you are struggling or feel you have not made the progress on the dissertation that you wanted, re-read the poem. Use it to call upon your writing muse. Use the poem to inspire you and give you strength. An important part of you is in that poem. You have the power to write your dissertation.
